Data protection:

We place great emphasis on data protection! Thank you for visiting our website. We take the security of your personal data very seriously, and therefore strive to provide you not only wit extensive online service but also the ability to control how your data is handled. Data protection efforts in particular on the new General Data Protection Regulation (Datenschutzgrundverordnung, DSGVO) and the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) especially and the German Broadcast Media Act (TMG).

1. What do we do with your data?

Personal data that you choose to share with us while utilising our internet service will be processed and used for customer relations and for proessing of your application or request. For this, the necessary to  forwarded to service providers. However, we will neither sell your data to third parties nor disclose it in any other way.

2. When do we collect, process and use your personal data?

We use software provided by etracker GmbH >> to collect and store data for our marketing efforts and in the interest of the ongoing improvement of our online service. Cookies are used for this purpose. Data is collected under an pseudonym about your usage behaviour; this data inculdes among other things your IP address with the last three digits removed. There will be no analysis of your previously visited domain addresses, the speed of your internet connection or of your provider.

The settings used by the etracker software comply with the requirements of the higher data protection supervisory authorities. You can revoke your consent to this data collection and storage at any time and with immediate effect here >>. Every time a user accesses this website and every time a file is downloaded, data relating to these events are temporarily logged by us and partly by third parties. This is carried out for the protection of our systems only.

Each data file contains the following information:

  • The website from which you came when visiting us
  • The IP address
  • Time and date of website access
  • The client query 
  • The HTTP response code
  • Bytes served
  • Information on which browser and operating system you are using

Any personal or business information (e.g. email address, name or address), that you provide in the context of our online services will only be collected n an expressly voluntary basis. The personal data transferred in this way will only be processed for the purpose it is collected for. When processing your enquiries, orders an your use of our services, we may under certain circumstances employ sub-contractors who only receive and process the information necessary to carry out their assigned contract.

3. How can I oppose the storage of data?

You have the right to receive information free of charge about data stored regarding you person. Furthermore, according to Federal Data Protection Law, you have a right to opt of the use and/or transmission of your personal data for marketing  purposes. Furthermore, statutory provisions grant you the right to have this personal data corrected, blocked, and deleted. In these cases please contact our Data Protection Officer in writing

4. What are cookies and are cookies used?

For your convenience and to make your visit to our website as enjoyable as possible, we use cookies as part of the service we provide. Cookies are small text files that are placed in the visitor’s local browser cache.

  4. In the dialogue field, slide the left-hand switch to (“Block all cookies“).

To change your settings in Firefox :

  1. In the menu bar choose „Options“, then select „Settings“.
  2. Under „Data Protection + Privacy“ you will find the section „Cookies“. Proceed to deactivate the option “Accept Cookies“.
  3. Click on OK to save the new setting..

If you use another internet browser, please check the help function of your browser or software supplier for instructions on how to deactivate or delete cookies.

5. Links to others sites

Our website also contains links to external sites. This Privacy Policy applies only to our website. We ask you to regard the privacy policies of the operators of these linked sites. We accept no liability for the content of external sites which are linked to and which are specially identified as such. We also claim no responsibility for their contents. The provider of the linked page is exclusively responsible for illegal, incorrect or incomplete information,  and for any damage that may arise from the use or non-use of the information. The Content Manager is responsible for third-party references only if it had absolute  knowledge of potentially illegal content that my be punishable under the law, and it was technically feasible and reasonable to have prevented the use of such content.
