I joined Nordgetreide as a process specialist in October 2019, and found myself in a dynamic company that tackles and implements change in a structured way. I have been able to expand my work as a process specialist to include CAD and, in addition to developing and scaling up production processes, I also take part in the design and manufacturing of equipment. In August 2009, I was lucky enough to be accepted as a trainee for the dual business economic studies programme at Nordgetreide. I first became acquainted with Nordgetreide in 2017 through my work as a master craftsman in an external craft business. At the beginning of 2023, I was working at the plant in Überherrn on a daily basis, performing various tasks on site. Through this work, I became increasingly involved with Nordgetreide.
At the beginning of 2023, I applied for a position as a metal construction designer at Nordgetreide and got the job. In this role, I am able to participate in important decisions and thus master a wide variety of tasks with a focus on the future. In August 2024, my area of responsibility was expanded to include the management of the mechanics department. I particularly like the combination of working in production at Nordgetreide and the theoretical content of my studies. You go through the varied production process of cereals from the raw material to the finished end product. The practical training helps you to better understand the topics in your studies and establishes a direct connection. In November 2004, I started working at Nordgetreide as a machine and plant operator. This meant that I was already part of the Nordgetreide family before production began in 2005 at the Überherrn site in Saarland.
