For example you will prepare orders and purchase agreements in the Purchasing department, while you will send product samples to existing and potential customers and take care of related communication and organisation in Sales. Theoretical lessons at the Miller School in Wittingen (Lower Saxony) complements your practical experience at Nordgetreide. In addition, material science covering different types of grain and mechanical engineering form a large part of the practically oriented curriculum. For the duration of the block courses, Nordgetreide provides accommodation for its apprentices at the school location in Wittingen.

The role also involves carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work on the systems.
